Mon Jun 15, 2009 Inca Pacific Shareholder Requisitions Meeting
Vancouver, BC, June 15, 2009 - Inca Pacific Resources Inc. (TSX-V: IPR) announces that it has received a requisition of a shareholder meeting from Exploration Capital Partners 2008 Limited Partnership demanding that Inca Pacific call and hold a shareholders' meeting.
According to the requisition: "Exploration Capital's present intention is to propose: (i) an increase in the size of the current Board from five to nine directors; and (ii) the election of four new directors to the Board, all as nominated by Exploration Capital." Exploration Capital has advised Inca Pacific that it owns 14.5% of the issued and outstanding shares of Inca Pacific.
The Board of Directors of Inca Pacific is considering the requisition, and intends to comply with all applicable laws in responding thereto.
